How to Enter into Bios Setting and Set the Resolution for 19inch AIO PC

On most consumer/mainstream motherboards, BIOS only controls the boot/logo/UEFI menu resolution (not Windows desktop). For a 19” AIO with LVDS/eDP panel, the “resolution” setting in BIOS is usually under Chipset → North Bridge / LCD Control.

1) Best resolution for 19” AIO

  • 19″ standard (16:10): 1440 × 900 (most common for AIO/industrial)
  • 19″ wide (16:9): 1600 × 900
  • 18.5″ often: 1366 × 768 (do not use for true 19″)

2) Enter BIOS (AIO/motherboard)

  1. Shut down the AIO.
  2. Power on, then immediately tap the BIOS key:
    • Most AIO/industrial: Del (Delete) /F11
    • Some: F2, F1, or Esc
  3. You will see the BIOS main menu.

3) BIOS path for LCD resolution (typical AIO)

Use arrow keys to navigate, Enter to select.
  1. Go to Chipset menu

  2. Select North Bridge (or Intel IGD Configuration)

  3. Select LCD Control / LVDS / Display

  4. Choose LCD Panel Type or Resolution

  5. From the list, select:
    • 1440×900 (recommended for 19″ 16:10)
    • Or 1600×900 (16:9 panel)

4) Save & exit

  1. Press F10 (Save and Exit)
  2. Confirm Yes / OK
  3. The AIO will restart.

5) After boot (Windows)

  • BIOS sets the POST/boot resolution.
  • Once Windows loads, set the desktop resolution:

    Right-click desktop → Display settings → Resolution → select 1440×900 (or 1600×900).

6) If you don’t see a resolution option in BIOS

  • Your board may not support BIOS-level resolution for LVDS/eDP.
  • In that case, set resolution only in Windows Display Settings.
